Hosted in partnership with First Baptist Church of Foley, this family-friendly event invites guests to stroll through a display of hundreds of unique vehicles, meet owners, enjoy live judging, and celebrate award-winning automotive craftsmanship.

Save the new date! This event is meant to take you back in time. It will include Heritage Park’s open house, historical demonstrations, cake walks, plant sales, a bake sale, may pole dances, entertainment, a petting zoo, seed planting, and plenty of old-fashioned fun.

Spend the afternoon discovering Mobile’s rich history with FREE ADMISSION to the History Museum of Mobile, Colonial Fort Condé, and Phoenix Fire Museum on Sunday, September 6, from 1–5 p.m. At the History Museum of Mobile, meet the Oakleigh Belles, who will bring Mobile’s past to life through engaging storytimes and a fun coloring station for young visitors. At the Phoenix Fire Museum, discover Mobile’s firefighting history and enjoy special architectural tours offered throughout the afternoon. At Colonial Fort Condé, step into the past with a special Fashion Show at 2 p.m. Fort Condé staff and volunteers will showcase military and civilian fashions representing the French, Spanish, British, and American periods of Mobile’s history. The program will place a special emphasis on French clothing and fashion. Whether you’re interested in architecture, fashion, living history, or fascinating stories from Mobile’s past, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kids Yoga ages (3- 11) is based on the Karma Kids Yoga Program that encourages children to "play" yoga and experience how their breath and body move together in a fun-filled way! The philosophy of teaching yoga to children provides kids with a variety of yoga tools that they can take away from class and use throughout their lives. Animals, nature and other objects come alive in this class; as we move, we learn to stretch our bodies in new creative ways. Through yoga poses, games, activities, music and stories, we promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach focus, relaxation and self-control. Members of the University of South Alabama Department of Physics will give a presentation, and set up the telescopes on The Great Lawn. They will set up a telescope to hunt for deep sky objects and point out the visible constellations. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars to this viewing. Also, there are several free apps for smart phones available that identify stars, constellations and planets by pointing the smart phone to a direction in the sky. The skies around Bellingrath Gardens have less light pollution than nearby larger towns so dimmer stars will be visible. Sunset in Mobile, Alabama on September 16, 2026 will be at 6:56 PM with Astronomical Twilight at 8:17 PM. A talk will be presented from 6:40 PM to 7:10 PM. After the talk, participants will go to the great lawn to the telescopes to observe the night sky.
