Kids Fishing

Meaher State Park

Join us at Meaher State Park for a fun morning of fishing with our naturalist! Bait will be provided, and we will have a few extra fishing poles for folks to use. Please bring your personal poles if you have them, as we will not have enough extras for everyone.   Kids 15 and under do not need a fishing license, but anyone 16+ wishing to take part must have a freshwater fishing license. These can be purchased at www.outdooralabama.com   *Be weather aware!* Any updates and changes to the event will be posted on our Facebook page.   What to bring: water, snacks, sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, and a fishing pole and tackle if you have them.   Meet at our fishing pier   Free for overnight guests, veterans, and children 12 and under $3 park entry fee for those over 12

Located directly across from the Mitchell Center at the University of South Alabama, South Wesley welcomes students of all backgrounds to join in Outreach, Fellowship, Worship, Discipleship, and Missions. We aim to create a safe environment for students to connect, serve, and grow!      The Spring Community Art Market will be held on Saturday, April 13th, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This will be a time of fun and fellowship, celebrating local artists and makers from all corners of the place we call home! 14th Annual Mobile Chocolate Festival

The Mobile Chocolate Festival, a celebration of all things chocolate, will be held at The Grounds on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with all proceeds to benefit Penelope House. Carlisle Medical is the Moon Pie Sponsor and The Hargrove Foundation, New Horizons Credit Union and Tyndall Federal Credit Union are the Truffle Sponsors. BonBon Sponsors include: Advantage IT Management, Airbus, Gardberg & Kemmerly, Joe Bullard Automotive, Tara & Shawn Kleinpeter, Theodore Pitsios, Author-Walking in the Light, and Rich's Car Wash. The 14th Annual Mobile Chocolate is a wonderful, one day family fun event! There will be vendors offering samples of their chocolate-related products as well as selling their products.
