The Coastal Garden Festival is the market's annual kick off to spring. It's been a tough winter so get ready to kick it off in favor of the warmth that's to come. Expect all your favorite produce, meat, seafood, and baked good vendors along with a number of nurseries and gardening vendors. The Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you plan your plantings. The Ballyhoo Fine Art & Culture Festival will kick it off at the beautiful Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8. The Ballyhoo Festival is a juried fine art festival displaying 110 artists nationwide. The festival features the Poarch Creek Indians, the culture of Early Americana Appalachian music in the form of a fiddle/banjo competition, and so much more! Patricia Riley was Deaf as a child and did not receive her hearing until sixth grade. She has a passion for the Deaf/ Hard of Hearing children and the Deaf community because she was one of these children, one of the forgotten few. Patricia Riley Was Executive Producer and stared in “The Better Half Feature Film” as Sam the mime. She has appeared in a variety of TV shows including “CSI Las Vegas,” “Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” “America’s Court," and “Millionaire Matchmaker.” Patricia Riley has been performing and teaching Improv, Mime technique and movement in the San Diego and Los Angels area for many years; bringing informed regard to the public for the betterment of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and communication-challenged children and their families. Patricia Riley is the Founder of “Don’t Be A Sap... It’s A Booby Trap” a 501c3 Non-profit, continues to bring awareness to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities all over the nation. |
