Join us for "Dunks for Wishes" on July 12th from 5 PM to 9 PM! This exciting event features a dunk tank where every splash helps grant a wish for a local child through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We're inviting community favorites like police officers, firefighters, the mayor, council members, coaches, and anyone eager to join the fun to take a turn in the dunk tank. Enjoy live music, activities for all ages, and a foam party—it's a night you won't want to miss! Get ready to satisfy your cravings with Double DS Burger at the event! Enjoy delicious burgers, cold beer, and the best margaritas around. Make sure to stop by and treat yourself while having a blast at "Dunks for Wishes"!

Join us for our first Pop-up Park & Block Party at Marjorie Snook Park, located behind City Hall! Pop-Up Parks are designed to bring awareness to underutilized green spaces throughout our City. Live music will be provided by the Funky Lampshades-so bring your comfy chairs or blankets to sit. The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be selling beverages for ALL ages and Sugar Love food truck will be on-site for dinner! The Orange Beach History Museum will have extended hours until 8:30 p.m., so stop in and check them out! What's a park without a little competition? We'll hold our first annual hot-dog eating competition, for ages 18 and up, during intermission. Grand Prize winner gets lots of cool prizes, plus a year's free membership to the Orange Beach Fitness Center! The Orange Beach Fire Department will be using their water truck to keep the kids cool and a water-feature inflatable will be provided-so make sure the kiddos bring a towel and change of clothes! Golf cart use is encouraged and designated cart parking will be in the grass lot in front of Fire Station 1.

Bring a blanket or a chair and join us for food trucks and a Summer concert!

We had to take a rain check for our originally scheduled program, so let's try this again, shall we! Get ready (AGAIN) for our first  Dive-In Movie of the Summer, hosted by the MPRD Aquatics Department!  Grab your towels and donut floaties, and meet us at Dotch Community Center Pool on Saturday, July 12 for the showing of the hit film, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The Dotch Community Center Pool will close at 5:00 p.m. on that Saturday evening and re-open for Dive-in guests at 6:30 p.m.  The movie will begin promptly at sundown. Until then, enjoy exciting Sonic-themed pool games  and snacks from our featured food trucks!  Small beach chairs and mini-coolers are welcome. No glass bottles are permitted in the pool area. Looking forward to seeing you all there! It is going to be a great time!

The 92nd Annual Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo will be held July 18-20, 2025 at the Rodeo Site on Dauphin Island! The Liar's Contest will be Thursday, July 17, 2025! The event is free for all spectators. Angler tickets will go on sale Father's Day Weekend, 2025.

The Pensacola Mess Hall will be at the Loxley Civic Center July 21 at 2:00 p.m. Patrons will discover how scientist use light to study the far reaches of space and how artists help us visualize the beauty and complexity of the cosmos in a 30-minute show. Following the show, patrons will dive into six exciting stations where they’ll create space-inspired art and experiments that blend science and creativity! Braided River's Run Club meets every Thursday at 6 p.m.! This public run club is open to all levels and ability, including walkers, marathoners, kids and even dogs. You can choose from a 5K or 1-mile route, both of which take off from the taproom at 6 p.m. Join Downtown Runners United By Beer afterward in the taproom for raffles, camaraderie and ice-cold craft beer!
