Handprint Ornament

Join me November 11th from 3:30-4:30PM for the handprint ornament class! Let your little ones express themselves, as they create the perfect ornament for your tree! Must register by November 3rd Ornaments are $25 per person, they make excellent gifts and last lifetime! Come watch Spider-Man and shop all the local vendors. Let's get ready for the holidays and help support all the locals . Bring a blanket and chairs to watch the movie. Walk around and shop and don't forget a Burger, loaded Nachos, and other options at Double D's.

Disney’s Tarzan: The Musical

The PACT Theatre Company is proud to produce Disney's Tarzan: The Musical this November 9-18, 2023 in partnership with The City of Mobile: Parks and Recreation and presented by The Hargrove Foundation. The Jolly Claus has checked his list already — twice, actually — so make sure you are on your best behavior when you snap a frame-worthy photo. A Fairhope Nutcracker

Children’s Dance Theater proudly presents our first annual performance of... A Fairhope Nutcracker This is the perfect event to kick off your holiday season, with a unique twist to the classical ballet. Journey with Clara as she frolics in downtown Fairhope with her family and friends. Uncle Drosselmeyer and his nephew arrive with magical gifts including a life size Ballerina Doll and Soldier Doll. Drosselmeyer gives Clara the special gift of a Nutcracker. As everyone goes home for the evening, a dance battle ensues between the Mouse Queen and the Nutcracker who has magically grown to life size. Clara saves her beloved Nutcracker and they begin their journey through the Mist of Mobile Bay. Act 2 begins with Angels guiding their way to the Land of the Sweets. Clara and the Nutcracker are greeted by the Sugarplum Fairy and sweets from far away lands. Beautiful azaleas waltz and swirl as Clara’s journey comes to an end. Sssensational Snakes

Join us at Meaher State Park as we learn some fascinating facts about the sensational snakes present in our environment. We will learn how to identify snakes and discuss some of their unique qualities before taking a stroll down one of our trails to spot some (fake) snakes. We will use this opportunity to discuss how snakes use camouflage to their advantage and learn more about the individual species. OWA’s Tree Lighting

Celebrate the enchanting magic of the season at our Tree Lighting ceremony in the heart of Downtown OWA. Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere as the streets come alive with the melodious sounds of Christmas music. This extraordinary holiday extravaganza features captivating live entertainment, culminating in the awe-inspiring illumination of OWA's colossal 45-foot-tall Christmas tree. The event is further enhanced by a gentle snowfall, creating a winter wonderland, and concludes with spectacular fireworks display that will leave you in awe. Thanksgiving Farm Play

$6 per person, ages 1-99. Cash or Venmo at the gate. This will be a normal farm play - our mini cows will have on cute Thanksgiving themed headbands and we will pass out some goodies for the first set of kids through the gate (not sure how many yet, will update.) Music, bubble machines, free candy, and you'll get to feed the donkeys as well. This is a very special event, as a portion of the proceeds will go to the South Baldwin Literacy Council. Catch Me If You Can, I’m the Gingerbread Man

West Regional Library

You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!  Chase our giant gingerbread man around the West Regional library. When you find him, take a selfie or just come to the desk and tell us where you found him. Prizes will be rewarded each time “Gingy” is found. The Gingerbread Man will be in a new place every day in December. Post your picture on Facebook or X and use #MobileGingerbreadMan and we will share it!
