Laissez les bons temps rouler! Roll into the Exploreum and celebrate the Mardi Gras season with us at our Krewe of Young Explorers Mardi Gras ball. From colorful science experiments, exciting music, dancing, and Mardi Gras throws galore, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Located in the heart of Downtown Mobile, the Mardi Gras ball revelers will be in the perfect spot to catch the parade that rolls right by our building! We will have VIP stroller/cart parking in our Courtyard for families that wish to partake in the Mardi Gras fun starting with the Floral Parade at 12pm. The party is from 9:00am to 2:00pm on March 1st, 2025. There will be thrilling STEAM experiments and activities all throughout the building, as well as traditional Mardi Gras festivities including mask making, enjoying delicious treats, and parading around the Exploreum! Holly Jolly Snowcones will be set up out front for some tasty treats so make sure to check them out as well! We will have a special showing of Disney’s Princess and the Frog in our PCI Digital Dome Theater at 9:30am. Seats are first come first served for the film. Admission is $12 for non-members and free for members. * Seating is limited in the theater, so reserve your ticket today.

MoonPies on Main It's time to "let the good times roll" at our annual Mardi Gras kid + pet and float parades. The festive celebration will feature something for all to enjoy — even your furry friends. So come early with the krewe to kick-off the night with our rockin' DJ and kids' activities including pony rides, bouncy houses, rock wall and more. Date + Time: Monday, March 3 | 4-8 pm Event Schedule: Kid + pet parade: 4 pm (see map for line-up information and parade route) Float parade: 6 pm (see map for parade route) SPECTRA Laser Light Experience: 7 pm (time estimated; will begin immediately following float parade) Where: Main Street + Palms Plaza Cost: FREE admission + parking; some kids' activities cost $5-$10 Other: Anyone can participate in the kid + pet parade. Come join us for some Mardi Gras fun with a twist! We will be using Minecraft for Mardi Gras Challenges, building our own floats for a mini parade at camp, and so much more! Your child will learn about the history of Mardi Gras and even have a special visitor! Half day to full week options available!

Come out for a fun evening of yoga with our goats. This is a beginner's class for all ages and experience levels. You goat this. Cost is $33 (+tax/fees) and includes approximately 1 hour of goat yoga and 1 beverage. Please arrive 15 minutes prior and bring an old towel or mat for the class.Class is Friday March 7th at 6:30Pm
