Ring in the holiday season with the University of South Alabama Department of Music with an evening of seasonal favorites at their annual Holiday Concert "Jaguar Jingle All the Way" on Thursday, December 5 at 7:00 pm in the Mitchell Center at USA. The concert features the vibrant sounds of the season featuring the USA Wind Ensemble, USA Concert Choir, USA Opera Theatre, and many other of USA's outstanding music ensembles. You'll hear an incredible variety of styles of holiday music, including "Winter Wonderland", "I Saw Three Ships", "'Twas the Night Before Christmas", and of course, "Jingle Bells"! And as always, the USA Jaguar Marching Band will join at the end of the concert along with South Paw and Ms. Pawla to get your toes tapping and to make your spirits merry and bright! Admissions is free and open to the public!

Come out to hear Christmas carols, enjoy the lighting of the Christmas Tree, and visit with Santa. Hot cocoa and snacks will be served! Awards for the Christmas Tree Decorating Contest will also be given out. 6-7 p.m.

Get ready for the 2024 Country Christmas Festival! This will be a wonderful family and community event. Free entertainment, live music games, hay ride, food and craft vendor's will be on-site as well. Santa arrives at 6:30 to visit with the children and Mrs. Clause will read her Christmas story book. Who's ready for a Hero Party? We are, and so is our good friend Dog Man! Join us for a hot-diggity-dog bash on December 7, 2024, 3-5:15PM, in celebration of the next installment in the Dav Pilkey's Dog Man series, Dog Man: Big Jim Begins! Dog Man fans should expect Dog Man-themed activities, treats, giveaways, photo opportunity, and a visit from our favorite crime fighter. With everything this celebration offers, it's time to suit up with Dog Man and the newest hero on the block--Big Jim! Important event ticket information: For this event, we ask patrons to choose their entry time. Participants will select a ticket for entry at either 3pm or 4:15pm. Participants will be given one hour in the party space. Siblings are welcome to attend, but only one party pack will be provided per purchased copy of Dog Man: Big Jim Begins from the Haunted Book Shop. We will not have additional packs available. Reserve sibling spots using the Sibling Attendee Add-on Ticket, which is free, but will help us know when to cap tickets and plan refreshments. This Year, We will line up behind the Football Field on Kichler Circle starting around 4:30 and be ready to Roll at 5:30. THIS MEANS….. Illinois Street will be a THROW street… So THROWS start by the EHS Parking LOT …. not the LINE UP (it will be on Kichler Circle) The Parade will ROLL Down Illinois Street, people can fill all the streets, we will run Illinois South to 98, then East to the Center of Town, then North on Co. Road 83 and North BACK TO EHS and Kichler Circle… This means …. WE WILL COMPLETELY WALK THE SQUARE AROUND THE TOWN…. So everyone gets to see everything!!! Then come back to the Center of Town for Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Tree lighting, Cookies and Hot Chocolate and Movie Classics until around 10PM! Admission: Free
