Flag Lowering Ceremony

Join us as we pause to remember those Americans who have given their all for our country and those veterans who have now left us. There will be a flag lowering ceremony at Vietnam Memorial. The ceremony is open to the public and free to attend.

Memorial Day Flag Relay

USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park is proud to be the last stop for the Memorial Day Flag Relay. The relay will begin in West Mobile and end on the USS Alabama. Two Flag Carriers will carry the American Flag and POW/MIA flag for 1 mile along the 25-mile route. For more information or to register for this free event, please call 251-649-1430. Spectators who wish to be at the park should plan to arrive by 10:30 a.m. and must pay $5 to park vehicles at USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park.
