Shop locally grown, locally produced and handmade items at Market in the Park!  This spring/summer, Market in the Park will run every Saturday from April 26 through June 28. Explore a wide variety of fresh, locally-grown produce, artisanal goods, and handcrafted items from local vendors while enjoying live entertainment in Cathedral Square.  We're proud to support our community with a selection of vendors who accept SNAP benefits, making fresh, healthy options accessible to all. Every Saturday, the market will open at Cathedral Square at 7:30 a.m. and close at noon.

LEGO® Free Build

Spanish Fort Public Library

Every Monday 3:30 - 5 pm, patrons are invited to the Spanish Fort Public Library to exercise their creativity and practice their engineering skills by constructing their very own LEGO® creation. This program is limited to the amount of LEGO®base boards. Each participant must sign in at the front desk to receive their base. Bases will be passed out on a first come, first served basis beginning at 3:30PM. Completed creations are labeled with the creator name and displayed in the library for the rest of the week. All displays are taken apart and bricks are returned to the bins on Saturdays in preparation for the next program. Please do not bring in outside plastic bricks/LEGO®. Bricks/LEGO®used in this program are property of SFPL

The Mama Village- monthly meet ups

The Mama Village is a FREE motherhood support group for mamas with babies aged 0-2.The group is facilitated by perinatal therapist Morgan Bradwell, LICSW, PMH-C of Village Therapy Collective & perinatal chiropractor Dr. Tiffany Jones, DC of Liberation Chiropractic & Wellness. We meet once a month on Fridays from 12-1pm at Redbar Espresso. Buying a coffee, smoothie, or lunch from Redbar is encouraged as a way of thanking them for freely offering us a space to meet. Pro tip - get to Redbar a few minutes early to place your order before their lunch rush! Babies welcome!! If you have a toddler, we do suggest bringing some small activities for them to play with. Movies in the Park: Inside Out 2

You all have made our first two installments of our  Spring Movies in the Park  series so phenomenal; let's keep that same energy for our third and final installment of the season! We will be at Mardi Gras Park in Downtown Mobile on Friday, May 16 for our showing of Disney Pixar's Inside Out 2, and per usual, we have a variety of pre-film entertainment and activities planned for our guests! Enjoy our interactive "Emotion Stations", each featuring activities based off of the six major emotions highlighted in the film:  Joy Sadness Anger Fear Disgust And newcomer emotion, Anxiety  We will also have our "Emotion Art Showcase" featuring art based on the emotions featured in the film and created by youth from local schools and art programs in the city!  (Click here for more details on the art showcase: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BRHag2TuC/ ) Guests are also invited to cosplay their favorite emotion in the film, including other newcomers Embarrassment, Envy, and Ennui (Boredom)!
