The South Alabama Veterans’ Council (SAVC) also announces the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the National Cemetery at 1202 Virginia Street in Mobile.The brief ceremony begins at 8:30 AM Monday May 25, 2026.The public is cordially and enthusiastically invited to attend. The SAVC offers this ceremony as an appropriate memorial to our Veterans, but also as a reminder to all that it is only through the sacrifices of the men and women of our armed services that weare able to enjoy and preserve our rights and freedoms. Let's carry on this tradition and pass it on to our youth. More than 15 food trucks will be serving up a wide variety of delicious dishes, from savory Southern comfort food and spicy wings to Mexican favorites, fresh corn on the cob, refreshing snow cones, and more. There’s something for everyone, no matter what you’re craving! But MMoA’s Food Truck Fest isn’t just about food — it’s a celebration of community, culture, fun, and most importantly, the kick-off to summer! Explore the Museum’s exhibitions as we stay open late, giving you the chance to mix art and culture with your food adventure. We invite and encourage you to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy your food in the beautiful park surroundings.
