Kids ages 5+ are invited to the Museum studio for a printmaking activity where we will use a variety of art techniques to design their own treat bag. Canvas bags and all printing materials provided!

Halloween at the Exploreum
Gulf Coast Exploreum Science CenterIt’s Spooky Time! Join us for our fan favorite, annual Halloween event at the Exploreum Science Center on October 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Explore Earth and Space sciences with a number of exciting demonstrations and hands-on STEM activities such as Bernoulli’s Planets, Alka Seltzer Rockets, and launching stomp rockers into orbit. Oh… don’t forget about our infamous pumpkin explosion! Make sure to rock those awesome costumes as we will also be having our costume contest as well! Just an FYI, this year’s overall theme is “space” or all things out of this world. This will also be one of the last days of the FEAR exhibit as well so catch it while you can! Admission is FREE for Exploreum members and General Admission for non-members.
Boo at Bellingrath
Bellingrath Gardens & HomeDress up your little ghosts and goblins and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun at Bellingrath! The Gardens will be filled with spooky and fun inflatables, and local businesses and organizations will set up numerous treat stations to hand out candy and trinkets to guests of all ages from 1 to 6 p.m. Boo at Bellingrath will include: Balloon artists to create your trick or treater’s favorite animals and shapes from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Spooky Storytime with Mobile Public Library every half hour from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Live Music from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A showing of a Disney Channel Original Movie: Halloweentown at 6:30 p.m. Local fare from a variety of food trucks

Saturday October 28, 2023 Fall Festival: 3-9PM *NEW LOCATION* James Seals Community Center & Park 540 Texas Street A Family-Friendly Night Filled with something for everyone!! Check out the schedule below: FREE FAMILY FUN: 3-6PM Join us for a full day of fun and entertainment including a live DJ, favorite characters, and bounce house inflatables! TRAIL OF TREATS: 3-6PM It wouldn't be Halloween without candy and we'll have plenty of it! Enjoy trick-or-treating all festival long. We'll even have limited treats for your pups. DRESS UP TO WIN: 4:30PM Be sure to register for our all-ages costume contest. We'll have several winning categories, including pets! Our pet contest begins at 4:30pm. Humans, ghouls & ghosts begin at 5:00PM. Categories include: Most Creative, Scariest, Best Team/Group, Funniest, and Most Original. Winners will receive an award and have their photo taken! Registration is required in order to participate. It is completely free to sign up! *Registration for Pet and Human Costume Contests closed on October 20th. DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY: 6-9PM Don't miss TRISH MAY & THE PLATINUM CAFE! Bring your blankets and chairs and relax with us! This is a rain or shine event.
