Stick around for the rodeo, and let your kids join in on the excitement with the calf scramble (for ages 6-12)! With more seating, delicious concessions, exciting vendors, and plenty of activities, there's something for everyone. With the arena being covered, this is a rain or shine event. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss! Our rodeo features livestock and event management from Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions, and contestants are affiliated with the Professional Cowboy Association, ensuring a high-energy, jaw-dropping experience that you won’t want to miss. But that's not all! We’re also bringing in a Professional Rodeo Clown to keep the crowd laughing with hilarious antics. With a perfect mix of humor for both kids and adults, the rodeo clown ensures there’s never a dull moment! Braided River Brewing Co MobileBraided River's Run Club meets every Thursday at 6 p.m.! This public run club is open to all levels and ability, including walkers, marathoners, kids and even dogs. You can choose from a 5K or 1-mile route, both of which take off from the taproom at 6 p.m. Join Downtown Runners United By Beer afterward in the taproom for food, raffles, camaraderie and ice-cold craft beer!

Town Green at Gulf Place, 101 Gulf Shores Parkway 101 Gulf Shores ParkwayS'mores on the Shore August 6, 2026 6 p.m. Campfires, music, s’mores, and so much more will be the scene as the City of Gulf Shores hosts S’mores on the Shore on Thursday, August 6. The fun is set to begin at 6 p.m. and will take place on the Town Green at Gulf Place, 101 Gulf Shores Parkway. This family-friendly event will include a variety of free items and activities, including s’mores packets, a live DJ, a balloon artist, and face painting. Our friends from Wheeles Realty are returning with more fresh, delicious watermelon for everyone to enjoy! We will also have a great selection of local vendors: Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism Hog Wild food truck and the Lions Club will be onsite for those who wish to purchase food. "We started S’mores on the Shore in 2010, and it quickly became a fan-favorite amongst our residents and guests,” said Recreation & Cultural Affairs Director Grant Brown. “It’s the perfect event for families of all ages who are looking for a little free fun and excitement. When you combine our beautiful beaches, music, campfires, and s’mores, it really does make for an incredible night.” S'mores packets are available while supplies last, so come early!
