Sugar Daze Esthetics: A Better Skin Care Resolution

Going into the New Year, you may have many goals and resolutions for yourself. As a busy mom, one of my goals is to prioritize myself a little more by adding some extra skin care into my routine. I recently visited Sugar Daze Esthetics and had the best facial experience of my life. A day before my 39th birthday I went in for an anti-aging facial. While my own background in dermatology has taught me to be diligent in cleansing and wearing sunscreen, I personally do not want any injectables. I have never had Botox, filler, etc., because I feel it is too expensive to keep up and I am not one for needles unless necessary. Cheyenne is a licensed esthetician, that seems to wholeheartedly love what she does. Before beginning, she asked about my daily skin care routine, products I use, and any allergy information. At each step she explained what she would be doing and asked if I was comfortable with it. I greatly appreciated this, because I was not expecting all the different aspects that were done during this facial. From start to finish, she thoroughly answered all of my questions about the service and products she was using. Cheyenne also gave me advice on products I could add to my daily routine. Her knowledge and passion for this field is very evident from my single experience. The epitome of professional and friendly!

The Location and Atmosphere

Located in Fairhope, the office is within Point Clear Studio. It is easy to find, has plenty of parking, and very clean. I did not have a wait time, Cheyenne was ready to get started immediately. The client’s room is very dim and peaceful. The bed table is warm and comfortable. The music choice was Zen and relaxing.

The Facial

My primary concerns are fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. I aspire to attain a smooth, luminous complexion. The Results

Below you will find the before and after photos from my visit. I would say the results are subtle in the photos, but I can assure you the texture and firmness was improved greatly. You can see the most improvement in fine lines around my crow’s feet area. My skin is definitely plumper and has a more glass like appearance in the after photos. I love that Cheyenne said, “Better skin does not happen overnight, it’s a process and takes consistency and great products.” I agree that a significant change would take time to be visible to others, but I noticed a difference and believe that over time the benefits would be extreme.
