Get the party started early at our annual “Noon Year’s Eve” event from 10:30am – 12:30pm! The $20 ticket includes 2 hours of jumping, a balloon drop with some amazing prizes, a sparkling cider toast, and so much more! The event is limited to the first 100 jumpers, so grab those tickets quick!


MoonPie Over Mobile New Year’s Eve Celebration

Ring in the new year with a giant electronic MoonPie drop AND a FREE concert by Morris Day & The Time! This nationallly ranked event, in its 18th year, has grown to more than 50,000 revelers filling the streets with the festive vibe Mobile is known for.

Festivities on NYE during the day include a Kids Zone from 11 AM to 1 PM with family-friendly fun in Mardi Gras Park and a Noon MoonPie Drop for the kids. In the evening, there will be a Best Decorated Umbrella Contest at 7:30 PM, the cutting of the world’s largest, edible MoonPie at 7:45 PM, and a second line parade at 8:10 PM led by the Port City Secondliners and the Jukebox Brass Band to the main stage to kick off the evening’s live music.

Moments before midnight, we will count down into the new year while the street party peaks with the ceremonial dropping of the world’s largest, electronic MoonPie as the clock strikes 2026. The 12-foot-tall MoonPie will descend from the 34-story RSA Trustmark skyrise to welcome in the new year and the beginning of Mobile’s Mardi Gras season.

2pm – New Year’s Day! After celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Flora-Bama there is only one way to start the new year …. by taking a plunge into the Gulf of America with a few thousand of your friends.

The Flora-Bama Polar Bear Dip is THE event of New Year’s Day along the gulf coast. Groups and families gather in costume, swim suits and some even in wet suits to feel the brisk salt water on their face.


Take a dip in the Gulf of America at high noon. Those who fully submerge will get a free draft beer and a free New Year’s lunch of ham, black-eyed peas, greens and cornbread.
