August 2025 Class Sign Ups Start Friday August 1 Back to School “First Impressions” One-Hour Pop Up Class Sunday August 10 at my home, select one of three sessions: Session A: 12:30-1:30 Session B: 2:00-3:00 Session C: 3:30-4:30 Cost $60, eight students max per session. *This class focuses on meeting the teacher and new friends, including others at school, and how to be helpful at school and at home. Children will also bring home a gift to take to their teacher on the first day of school. Art of Conversation Two Day Weekend Workshop Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24 at my home, select one of two sessions: Session A: Saturday 9-10:30 and Sunday 1:30-3:00, OR Session B: Saturday 11-12:30 and Sunday 3:30-5:00 Cost $125, eight girls max (grades 2-4) *This class focuses on how to carry a conversation, how to accept compliments, how to share the spotlight, how to use a social filter, and how to be a kind and inclusive friend. I will not offer traditional classes in November or December, but I will likely host a few holiday specific one-hour Pop Up Lessons.  MOVIES IN THE PARK IS BACK!  This time, we are taking the cinema experience to Langan Park (4901 Zeigler Blvd.) for the viewing of "The Wild Robot" starring Lupita Nyong'o.  Grab your lawn chairs, blankets and small coolers, and meet us at the Performing Arts Pavilion beginning at 6:30 p.m. Before the film begins at dusk, enjoy pre-film activities such as interactive lawn games, a special STREAM activation featuring mini-robots, and light refreshments while they last!  No registration required for this free family event! Come see history come to life with our WWII reenactors during our August drill. Interact with historical WWII reenactors aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM. These historical reenactors, dressed in WWII period Navy uniforms, demonstrate what life aboard ship was like during wartime. They share stories from our original crewmen, conduct weapons briefings, and demonstrate drills while aboard ship. Be sure to grab a spot on the main deck of the USS ALABAMA at 1:00 p.m. when “Call to Battle Stations” is sounded. Enemy aircraft will fly over attacking the ship, and the crewmen will fire back defend her with their guns blazing! Spectators will be able to take in the whole experience while the crew fires the ship’s 20mm and 40mm guns. Planes fly based on mechanics and weather conditions that day. The Deep South Amateur Radio Club will be broadcasting from Radio Central aboard the USS ALABAMA during the drill and welcome visitors to stop by to listen. For all ham radio operators, the call letters are K4DSR and K5LDA broadcasting between 20 and 40. The drill is open to the public and included with general admission tickets.

You and your child(ren) ages 6 & under are invited. Play on our giant, soft, fun-filled interactive inflatables. Little Tikes Jump Features: Bubbles - for interactive play and imagination. Fun Snack - a fun snack and drinks are now included in our Little Tikes Jump.
