Excavating artifacts from a mock shipwreck\, guests will discover:\n* The fascinating field of underwater archaeology* The anatomy of historic ships* Highlights from the Mediterranean region featured in Sunken Treasures\, Ancient Seas: Artifacts from the Deep* The careful process of excavation and preservation of a Roman warship\, a cargo vessel\, and items recovered from the sea floor\nNo RSVP or advance tickets required—this workshop is free with regular admission to the History Museum of Mobile.\nThe program will last approximately two hours and will take place in the museum classroom.
