November 21 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am Tales and Trails in the Gardens Preschool Storytime Returns! This fall, Tales and Trails preschool storytime returns to Mobile Botanical Gardens through the generous support of the Lilian S. Woolford Charitable Trust. Join us on Thursday mornings beginning at 10:30 am in various locations throughout MBG’s 106 acres to enjoy preschool storytime together. MBG Docents will read aloud specially selected stories and lead nature-based activities perfect for preschoolers. Parents and children alike will learn and have fun in our gorgeous garden setting. Join us for the Malbis Christmas Market on Sunday, November 24th from 11:00-4:00. We will be showcasing over 50 local vendors! This is a FREE family friendly event. Come out to the gorgeous Historic Malbis Nursery to shop local with some of the best around! We will also have a VERY special guest attending this event. Santa Jeff will be on site from 2:00-4:00. Make sure to stop by and get a photo with him! Snag a selfie or get fancy with Kristina Regan Photography. Kristina will be on site offering the opportunity to purchase professional keepsake photos! We are partnering with the Prodisee Pantry and hosting a food drive! As always, the event is free to attend—but we would be so grateful for you to bring non-perishable food items and donate to this awesome, local organization.We will have a giant box on site at the market for food donations and would love to be able to fill the box for them!

The holiday season is almost upon us and what better way to kick off the festivities than with a Christmas movie under the stars! On November 23rd at 6:30 PM, the 14th annual “Movie in the Street: On Fairhope Avenue” will be showing “The Grinch.” The intersection of Section Street and Fairhope Avenue will be transformed into “Whoville” for the evening, providing a magical experience for families and friends. The event is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie comfortably. Children are also invited to wear their favorite holiday pajamas, adding to the festive atmosphere. So, grab your loved ones and come on down for a night of family fun and entertainment!

Annual holiday open house with 13,000 square feet of local artisans and vendors. Visit with Santa from 11-2 or take a stroll to find your favorite gifts with The Grinch! Hot cocoa bar, delectable baked goods and an ornament making station for the kids. Starts at 10:00 a.m.

Kick off the holiday season at the Coastal Christmas Market, presented by Baldwin Health, Crye*Leike Gulf Coast Real Estate/Flip Flop Vacations, and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber. Get your Christmas shopping done early as the Orange Beach Event Center will be filled with vendors showcasing a variety of handmade crafts, fine arts, retail goods, and truly one-of-a-kind gifts! There will also be kids activities, opportunities for photos with Santa, and an on-site food truck. Admission into the Coastal Christmas Market is free.
