We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual Seed and Plant Swap Event at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo! This event is perfect for garden enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to master gardeners. Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, we welcome you to share and explore a world of seeds, plants, and gardening knowledge. All event activities are included with paid zoo admission or zoo membership. Children under two are free. Upon arrival, you can donate a pack of wildflower seeds for a 10% discount off zoo admission.  Highlights of the Event:- Seed and Plant Exchange: Swap your favorite seeds and plants with fellow enthusiasts.- Community Atmosphere: Connect with like-minded individuals and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the zoo. Additional activities will include:- Munsell Sustainable Garden talks by the Zoo’s Sustainability Committee- Local gardening and homesteading information tables and demonstrations- Seed planting activitiy for kids to take home- Vendor booths with local plants, herbs, and homesteading items for sale If you're interested in a free presenter booth or a paid vendor booth, please request the form in advance. Bring your creativity to life at the Starbucks Coloring Contest during the Arts & Crafts Festival on January 25th! Children aged 2-12 can showcase their artistic skills for a chance to win in one of three age groups: 2-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Winners will be announced at 2:00 pm and will receive a Starbucks Tumbler, $25 Gift Card, Hot Cocoa, and a Cake Pop!
