Join us at Meaher State Park for Alabama's Free Fishing Day! This means that everyone can fish without a license! Spend a fun morning of fishing with our naturalist! Bait will be provided, and we will have a few extra fishing poles for folks to use. Please bring your personal poles if you have them, as we will not have enough extras for everyone. *Be weather aware!* What to bring: water, snacks, sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, and a fishing pole and tackle if you have them. Meet at our fishing pier Free for overnight guests, veterans, and children 12 and under$3 park entry fee for those over 12

Catch & Release ponds are back!! We will have live fish in our Catch & Release ponds June 8 & 9, and June15 & 16 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Stop by and catch a fish!

Join Mobile Museum of Art for an afternoon of local shopping, live music, food trucks, art activities, and free admission to the Museum. Support local artisans at the Makers Market, which will feature a variety of handmade items, such as jewelry, pottery, self-care products, and baked goods. Enjoy local, live music from Denver Hawsey while you shop, and be sure to stop by one of our food trucks for tasty treats. During the Open House, explore MMofA’s popular children’s exhibition, FOR CHILDREN: The Elements of Art & Design. Visit The Museum School for fun activities designed by MMofA’s fantastic educators. Admission to the Museum will be free all day in addition to the afternoon activities.
