The Picky Eater Playbook for Parents

Children need a variety of foods from all food groups each day to support healthy growth and brain development. Early eating experiences can also affect how we eat as we get older and may influence the development of chronic diseases later in life. It is important to introduce young children to healthy foods, including a variety of fruits and vegetables. Getting children to accept a new food may be challenging and can result in parental worry and/or eventually giving up on introducing new foods.
