- Balloon Artist at the Gussies Flowerbed
12:00 – 4:00 pm: Snap a picture with one of the Mardi Gras stilt walkers roaming Downtown OWA
12:00 – 4:30 pm: Shoebox Float Decorating Competition at the Sweet Tooth alcove – Decorate your own shoebox float at home using your creativity and imagination, then bring it to Krewe du Kidz for a chance to win a prize! Prizes will be awarded at 4:30pm. Must be present to win. Decorating supplies will be available in limited quantities while supplies last.
12:00 – 5:00 pm:
- DJ Bubble Party at the Splashpad
- Moon Pie Bingo at the Native Treasures Alcove
- DIY Feather Masks at the Downtown fountain
- DIY Bead Necklaces at the Gussies flowerbed
4:45 pm: Crowning of Krewe du Kidz King & Queen. Come to Krewe du Kidz dressed in your finest Mardi Gras regalia to be in the running for Krewe du Kidz King or Queen! Must be present to win. King and Queen are invited to ride on OWA’s float at the Mardi Gras Parade & Party on March 2^nd.
