Mobile International Speedway | Now through January 1, 2025
For those who love to get in the holiday spirit by looking at lights, our “Thriller Nights in Lights,” and “Christmas Nights In Lights” attraction at Mobile International Speedway needs to be added to the absolutely must-see list. Located at 7800 Park Blvd in Irvington, AL, just a few minutes from Tillman’s Corner, “Nights In Lights” will be taking over the race track as guests will slowly cruise through in their own vehicles. A visit to the attraction will take viewers through a showcase of over one million lights and holiday displays plus actually drive on the race track itself. Plus, the lights will be synchronized to “dance” to the best holiday classics for both Halloween and Christmas played through each vehicle’s car stereo on a private radio frequency.

Immerse yourself in the magical and enchanting world of the Keyserland Christmas Trail and make unforgettable holiday memories. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Grand Bay, Alabama, this event is sure to put a smile on your face and fill your heart with the spirit of Christmas. We have 3 ticket options available: walking ticket (1 ticket per person) to walk the trail of lights and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claude at the end, regular carriage ride ticket (includes 4 people) to ride the carriage through the lights and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the end, and a SANTA carriage ride ticket (includes 3 people) to ride in the carriage with Santa through the lights and do a craft with Mrs. Claus at the end. Each ticket is only offered on specific days. The calendar of events is also pinned to the top of our FB page. Whether you want to take a walk or ride with your family through the lights or walk or ride under the giant mistletoe with your significant other, come experience the Christmas magic!

Ring in the holiday season with the University of South Alabama Department of Music with an evening of seasonal favorites at their annual Holiday Concert “Jaguar Jingle All the Way” on Thursday, December 5 at 7:00 pm in the Mitchell Center at USA. The concert features the vibrant sounds of the season featuring the USA Wind Ensemble, USA Concert Choir, USA Opera Theatre, and many other of USA’s outstanding music ensembles. You’ll hear an incredible variety of styles of holiday music, including “Winter Wonderland”, “I Saw Three Ships”, “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”, and of course, “Jingle Bells”! And as always, the USA Jaguar Marching Band will join at the end of the concert along with South Paw and Ms. Pawla to get your toes tapping and to make your spirits merry and bright! On December 15 from 1-3PM, join in on the fun at the 2nd annual Christmas Tree Ornament Scavenger Hunt! Come see how many trees you can correctly match to the clues. First and Second place prizes will go to the person/group who solves all the clues in the shortest amount of time. On December 15 from 1-3PM, Gift Wrapping for donations will be available at the Welcome Center. Just bring all your gifts with a “To and From” on them and let us take care of the rest. Remember at each event the DI Chamber of Commerce will be taking donations for Feed the Need. Some items we are hoping to collect are large cans of hearty type soups (beef/vegetable, chicken vegetable), instant potatoes, canned vegetables (spinach, greens, peas), bags of dried beans (black eye peas, lima), canned fruit, canned yams, boxes of stove top dressings, canned ham, shelf-stable milk, cranberry sauce, any type of items to help with making a holiday meal.
