Summer Toys Your Kids Will Love: For Ages 2-7
Summer means a lot of outside time with the kids. Whether you will be in the backyard, the pool, or on vacation, these are some excellent toys that should help keep the kiddos busy. They are not listed in any specific order and not all of them involve water. Happy summertime mamas!
Window Art – This window art kit is super cute and keeps the kids busy for a while. Our kids love seeing their artwork displayed and this makes it extra special. It’s only $12 and comes with everything you need. The age rating is for 6+, but my four year olds, who love art projects have done it before.
Backpack Water Gun – Finally, a water gun you won’t have to fill up a hundred times. This little gun is easy to use and holds approximately 2 liters of waters. The cost is low, under $15 and if you do not like the elephant, search backpack water gun for other options, which include a superhero version.
Elephant Butterfly Catching Game – This is a cute little game that will keep your kids busy and laughing. They can play it indoors as well as outdoors, but it’s perfect either way. It is great for ages 3 to 7 and the cost is $22.
Slip and Slide – If you didn’t have this classic toy as a kid I would be surprised. They have come a long way with rafts for soft landing and multiple sliding lanes. We love the shark theme, but there are many options for this idea. The price will depend on how many lanes, how long, and special themes, ranging from $30-$60.
Magnetic Sea Animals – These little magnetic ocean creatures are fun in a sand box or at the beach. They can also be used in a pool or water table. This one comes with two fishing rods and cost $17, but they have other options for more or less kids.
Dinosaur Sand Toys – The cutest dinosaur shapes kids can use for digging fossils. One of our favorite items to have at the beach. This is a big set that comes with 33 pieces and a mesh bag for $19, but there are so many options on size and colors.
3 in 1 Sand and Water Table – This table is so cute and if you don’t mind the kids getting a little dirty, it makes the best mud kitchen. The umbrella makes playing for hours outside a little easier without the direct sunlight. We love the picnic style for multiple kids. It is currently on sale for $50, but is normally $100, so act quickly if you want it!
Kiddie Pool with Slide – Lots of options on kiddie pools, but we highly suggest one with a slide. It makes getting in extra fun. Find what work for your family size. This one is perfect for 2 or 3 kids and has a cute dolphin basketball hoop. This type of entertainment should range from $50 to $100 depending on size and style.
Pool Float with Water Gun – This float is awesome fun in the pool! You never run out of water for the gun and it is a cute theme for water play. Amazon offers different styles and options for multiples if you need more than one! This one is around $20 and best suited for ages 3 to 7.
Leaf Blower Bubble Gun – All kids love the leaf blower, why not get them their own and incorporate bubbles? This is such a cute toy. It comes in pink or blue and has a large bubble output. The cost is $25. This is suitable for the younger toddler ages.
Bow and Arrow – We know everyone already has the typical sports toys, which are great, but this archery set has proven very entertaining and fun. This particular set is $18 and for ages 3+. They have nicer ones for the older kids if you have an intermediate level kiddo.
Tree Swing and Rope Climb – This cool swing is easy to install if you have a nice tree or swing set. It doubles as a rope climb, which means this is perfect for the older age range on this list. The cost is $30 and there are multiple options available.
