Semmes Independence Day Block Party

This event will be an absolute blast and free for the community! There will be an amazing fireworks show at the end of the event (9pm), live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, fun for the kids and more! . Plan to bring your chairs! Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. This event will be block party styled right in the heart of Semmes. The location will be the green spaces near Honor Park and City Hall. Parts of Wulff Road will be closed. The City will have busses and trolleys running throughout the city in constant rotation. We are so excited to have Lost in Paradise for entertainment! Another band will be posted soon.

What better place to celebrate the July 4th holiday than right here on beautiful Dauphin Island, the Sunset Capital of Alabama! As America marks 250 years we’ll be celebrating the big day with the annual Dauphin Island Veterans Association ceremony at Water Tower Plaza at 11am. Always a patriotic event filled with red, white and blue! That evening, you’ll want to keep an eye to the sky over Middle Beach for our spectacular fireworks show which gets underway at 9pm! This year’s show is guaranteed to evoke a chorus of oohs and ahhs! If you’d like to make a tax deductible contribution in support of the 2026 fireworks show, please make checks payable to the DI Foundation.

Join us for the City of Mobile’s 4th of July Celebration, honoring America’s 250th anniversary! On Saturday, July 4 from 5:30-9:30 p.m., enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, nonprofits, games, family-friendly activities, and a breathtaking fireworks show at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.Admission to the Fourth of July Celebration is free, but there are fees to park. Parking will cost $10 per car and $30 per RV (cash only). You may reserve your spot in advance starting May 4. If you purchase a presale parking ticket, you will be able to park as early as 4 p.m. on the day of the event. No parking will be allowed after 8:15 p.m. Re-entry is permitted with parking pass; however, parking availability may be limited once the lot reaches capacity.

Celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, 2026 with a morning full of hometown pride, patriotic fun, and community tradition as we also honor America’s 250th Birthday and the Town of Magnolia Springs’ 20th Anniversary! Parade begins at 10:30 AM, Starts at the end of Oak Street on Woodland Drive and travels down Oak Street to the Magnolia Springs Fire Station on Gates Avenue. Following the parade, everyone is invited to enjoy the annual Hot Dog Luncheon with watermelon and lemonade at the fire station.
