Baldwin County Family Friendly Halloween Events 2025

Halloween is just around the corner and there is so much fun to be had! Looking for the best kid friendly events to show off your kid’s Halloween costume? Our community is full of ways to celebrate the season. Whether your little ones are in search of candy or a costume contest, these local events are perfect for the whole family. Get out and enjoy all the fun things this time of year brings! We hope this list helps you make the most of the spooky and sweet celebrations. October 3rd – 30th

Come ride “Dame Ann”, an authentic steam locomotive, to the Pumpkin Patch and spooky maze (optional). 4-7pm Kiddy friendly day train. 7PM starts the SCARY night train. Everyone gets a FREE pumpkin! Refreshments, mini train rides, hay-less hayride, and bounce house included in your ticket. Enjoy the potato Cannon for a slight fee. Food will be available for purchase at our Café (traditional fare) and Concessions stand (Kettle Corn and other treats). We also have a Gift Shop, perfect for the train enthusiast!

October 4th, 11th, 18th, 24th, 25th

Come take a ride on our spooky express, sit back and relax while you are driven through our amazing display of Halloween inflatables and lights. Only $5 per person. Please bring cash, we don’t accept cards for this event. We board the golf carts at the PAVILION/PLAYGROUND area of the park. (If you get out at the center-wrong place-you will hear the screams of the night from Haunted Forest) See you soon!

Saturdays, October 4th – November 1st

Visit the realms of the apocalypse as you tempt fate for survival!
How will the world end?
Event Details:
Participants must be able to board a wagon to the entrance and then walk the trail and boardwalk. Wheelchairs must contact the site for accommodations to the entrance. A food truck, restrooms and parking are on site. Portables are available at the entrance. All participants will be required to sign a waiver.
This event is for ages 8 & up ONLY! No exceptions!

October 11th – 31st

Find frightful fun in Downtown OWA for a Halloween season full of candy, costumes, and more! Starting October 11th, join us on Saturdays and Sundays as Downtown OWA transforms into a spooktacular destination filled with thrilling events for all ages.
From an ALL-NEW Drone Show at HalGLOWeen to four-legged fun at Howl-O-Ween, there’s something new to experience each week! Kids can enjoy trick-or-treating on select dates, while families and friends can gather for events like Monster Bash and Island BOOvie Nights.

Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner Show | October 17th | OWA | 6:30p

Welcome mortals! Meet and mingle with some of the most iconic monsters on the face of the earth. Don’t worry – they’ve agreed that none of you will be harmed, or bitten… BUT when one of these legendary monsters is murdered, it will be up to YOU and the detective to solve this bizarre case. Do you have what it takes to solve The Monster Mash?
This family entertainment features actors in a live, interactive, and comedic experience with audience members as they work to solve the “murder” through physical clues, spoken dialogue, and inferred character motives.
There is no dress code or age restrictions but we do encourage a Halloween costume.

Book it to Blackburn Park in Bay Minette on Oct. 18 for the sixth annual Trunk or Treat in support of the North Baldwin Literacy Council. The Kiwanis Club of Bay Minette will once again have a Booo-ktober station set up at the event allowing children to select their own “treat” from the hundreds of book titles available. The club will also have assorted bookmarks, stickers and reading logs available while supplies last. The annual Trunk or Treat will be held 4 to 7 p.m. and admission is free. Activities will include raffle prizes, food trucks, vendors and more. The event will also include a Jeep costume contest with the public voting for the favorite.

Join the Kiwanis Club at the 6th annual Trunk or Treat, benefitting the North Baldwin Literacy Council. Visit the Kiwanis Club booth where children can select their “treat” from more than 300 book titles available! This event will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Blackburn Park in downtown Bay Minette.

Join us for a haunted trail for the kids this year at our annual Delta Elementary Fall Festival! Haunted Trail wristbands are $5 and you can go through the trail as many times as you like!! Tickets will be available on the Delta Elementary School store. Tickets may also be purchased at the haunted trail entrance at the festival. This is a family friendly event. Come check out the haunted trail to help raise funds for Delta PTO and enjoy the trunk or treat for free. Costumes encouraged. Let’s enjoy some family time while the kids create a few core memories being scared in the kid friendly haunted trail. Food truck and market vendors available for purchase. All funds raised will go to loving on Delta Elementary faculty and students
