Gift Guide 2021
If you aren’t sure what to get your toddler this year, don’t worry, you are not alone. We have looked at so many gift guides, we have googled, and we have asked our own kids to circle the toys they wanted out of the catalogues. Honestly, we still aren’t 100% sure about all of it and that is okay because not all kids like the same things. They don’t really know what they want either, which is why gift guides are so helpful. We have put together a list of overall favorites, mixed with a few of our own personal favorites. Not all of them are toys, but we kept the toddlers we know in mind and feel confident there will be something on this list for everyone! Happy shopping Mamas!

- Toniebox Audio Player- If your kid enjoys music and storytime, this is a perfect choice. It is a screen free experience that allows kids to use their imagination the same way you would while reading. There are so many ‘tonies’ you can purchase to use with your player that would make a great gift from family members.
2. Play Kitchen- One of the top gifts on every list we have seen is the kitchen set and it happens to be a big one from Santa at our house this year. There are so many different versions. Whether you prefer the Montessori style or Little Tikes, it is sure to be a hit.
3. Saucer Swing- This swing can hold multiple kids at a time and has a fun shape. The kids can pretend they are on a magic carpet or flying ship together. I always love when the kids get something they can use simultaneously.
4. Hearthsong Build a Fort- This one is for the older toddlers that like to do things themselves. Let your kid build and rebuild their unique ideas using this perfect set of connectable panels for hours of fun.
5. 3-Wheeled Scooter- The kids will be zooming past you in no time on these cute little scooters. If your kid has already mastered the 3-wheeled scooter, maybe upgrade them to the 2-wheel!
6. Monster Jam Megalodon- I can’t say how many times my kids have played with this shark monster truck until the battery died. It is made well, easy to use, and has a fairly long battery life. Even when it’s not charged, they still play with it. (At the time of this posting, this is on sale!)
7. Roller Coaster-This ride-on kiddie coaster is a fan favorite. It is great indoors or outdoors, but we prefer out.
8. Cocomelon Doll- What kid isn’t obsessed with Cocomelon? If you’re able to tolerate the singing, this gift is sure to be a hit.
9. Duplo Lego Sets- These sets offer different themes, allowing your kid to have a different experience with each one. I also feel like Lego does a great job accounting for age appropriateness.
10. Blockaroo/Magnatiles- Blockaroos are foam magnetic blocks, so they are similar to Magnatiles. The difference is that you won’t cringe when they get dumped on the floor. Both are great for the kids though!
11. Kiwico Box– These science and art projects are the perfect gift for any occasion. You get to choose the age and interest for your kid and they get delivered to you monthly. (You can pause or cancel anytime.) We especially like this idea because who doesn’t like to get packages in the mail? Our kids love the activities that come in the box and us parents love that our kids are learning while having fun!

12. Water Magic Drawing Mat- If your kids like the water wow coloring books, they will LOVE the magic drawing mat. We love it because there is no mess, paint or toxins- just water!
13. Rocket stomper- This was a personal favorite at our house. We will buying a new one this year, because ours has been well loved. The dueling version is great for siblings close in age.
14. Pesonalized sippy cup- Pick a theme your kid will love and it will be a hit even though it’s not an actual toy.
15. Costume play- Whether it’s superheroes, a doctor, a chef, or a gardener, dressing up is great for using imagination and character building. The cuteness overload is totally worth it.
16. Personalized book- I skipped over this one last year because my kids are rough on books, but my oldest is getting one this year. It’s a great way to make them feel special.
17. Favorite show playset- Currently our favorite show is Bluey! However, we also own the Spidey Webquarters and Peppa Pig’s House. The kids will be acting out all of the episodes!
18. Kids Selfie Camera- If your kid likes to play with your camera, get them their very own. Who knows, they might become a great photographer.
19. Busy puzzle/name puzzle- Customizable and educational, these Montessori style puzzles are popular and great for toddlers learning letters, shapes, and numbers. This is a great pick.
20. Passes to local fun spots- If you already have all of the other items, we suggest you find some local attractions and buy the kids tickets to use throughout the year! The gift of experience is one of the best gifts of all!
