Where to Watch Fireworks in Mobile/Eastern Shore
We hope you all are having a great summer so far! Here are our top five picks for watching fireworks on the fourth! Happy Independence Day Mamas!
1. Cooper Riverside Park or the Causeway- With live music and a beautiful view this is sure to be fun. The event is from 7 to 9:30pm, music starting at 7pm. If you don’t want to go to the park you could eat dinner on the causeway and park for the show. You will love the view reflecting off of Mobile Bay either way.

2. Al Trione Park/Fairhope Pier- If you live in Baldwin County these two locations are perfect for laid back firework gazing. Trione is a family fun firework show event that begins at dusk and lasts approximately 2 hours. Fairhope will host a concert at 7:30pm and begin the firework display around 9pm. Bring your own chairs, a blanket, or use a tailgate to sit and enjoy the show!

3. The Park at OWA- If you are a local and haven’t been to this funfilled amusement park, you are missing out! To celebrate Independence Day, the park decided one day wasn’t enough and will be hosting events on the 2nd and 3rd as well as the fourth. However, the only fireworks show will be on Sunday the fourth beginning around 8:45pm, so this one may be best for the older kids. Don’t let this stop you from going if you have toddlers, I am certain they will enjoy the park’s splash pad and the patriotic parade that begins at 2pm. Did I mention their will be arts and crafts, live music, and a patriotic costume contest?

4. Mobile Bay Cruise- Maybe you are looking for something a little different this year? You could take a boat ride to watch the fireworks pop off over the battleship. This cruise departs from Blakely Dock in Spanish Fort at 7:45pm and returns by 10:15pm. Tickets are limited.
5. Your House/Neighborhood- Our personal favorite the past couple of years has been to hang out in the driveway and watch the entire neighborhood shoot their own fireworks. This has allowed for the kids to safely participate and watch simultaneously. It also allows for the infant siblings to still go to bed on time. Since kids are so eager to get started, the fun usually starts early and ends early. There is no packing, unloading, or stress when you stay home, so it’s comfortable and convenient. My favorite part is you can invite family, friends, neighbors, or just make it a solo family ordeal.
