12 Valentine’s Day Card Themes for Boys Found on Amazon

This holiday is really hard for me as a mom of four boys. All the cute flowers and pastel hearts just don’t speak to me. While my boys fit the dinosaur and shark loving molds, they still wanted to each have their own theme. Four themes is a lot to find, but we found plenty with the help of Amazon. Check out these adorable ideas!

Punny Food

Kids usually love to talk about food and mine seem to love food jokes. These were a hit with my oldest son in Kindergarten. Of course he loves all three of these foods! My son just attached a bag of candy to them, but there are cute matching accessories.

Bugs

I have bug lovers, much to my disappointment. They will catch them, cage them, and try their best to keep them. My guys picked out these and I have to admit they are pretty cute. A second favorite, also on Amazon, was the mason jar cards.

Video Games

Even though mine are young, Mario Kart is a favorite pastime of ours when we can’t get outside. I think all the puns on these are just perfect. My oldest is obsessed with anything that has the remote control on it.

Zoo Animals

The animals theme is usually a favorite for someone. This pack includes such a variety and I love that they hold the treat/trinket in its arms. Such a sweet little idea. Bubbles is a great option for these if you didn’t want to do candy.

Ocean Animals

Even though this may seem redundant, ocean animals is a category all their own. If you have a little guy that loves sharks and all things ocean related, they will love these. There are some that are shark only themed, but my guy didn’t want “baby” sharks. He said these looked like real life sharks.

Dinosaurs

Well, you knew it was coming, so no surprise with this one. I couldn’t leave it off considering all four of my boys are dino lovers. However, my kid picked out the scary Jurassic World cards, but these were so simple, yet awesome I had to share. Plus, so much comes with this set and if you have ever had to make a box for Valentine’s cards you know this is worth it.

Cars

The pull back cars are always a fun little trinket to get. They don’t last long at our house, but they have provided plenty of fun races. Boys usually love cars, it’s definitely a safe theme. The puns on these are sure to make you smile too.

Emergency Vehicles

If my boys would never do the police/ambulence car sound again I would not complain. That being said, they love any kind of vehicle with a loud alarm on it and every time they see one they get excited. This includes garbage trucks and construction vehicles, so if that’s their thing, those would be great too, just not as many choices.

Legos

Legos are great because they have so many different types. You could easily combine themes, such as legos and dinosaurs. My boys like the people and as a parent I like that the pieces are easily put together without instructions. Kids know where the head and arms go. Not to mention, they usually don’t take the people apart as much as the other stuff.

Favorite Show or Movie

Your kids may love PJ Masks, Mickey, Bluey, Spiderman, Batman, or Minions. All the Disney shows and big box movies are so popular. I know these aren’t always the cutest, but they are usually easy to find and it is more about your kids having fun, rather than the cutesy themes. I was excited when one of mine picked out this set. They all think the Minions are hilarious and cute. Not going to lie, I loved them.

Sports

My oldest is learning to love sports more as he ages and gets better mobility, but it isn’t his favorite thing. However, one of my triplet’s favorite activities is hitting the ball off the tee and shooting some baskets, as he calls it. He loves sports related things even if he is still learning. For the sports loving boys, I really thought these were great for the classroom.

Outer Space

I think most kids love to learn about the planets and stars when they are little. I know my boys have a lot of questions and love talking about going to the moon. The phrases on these are perfect for Valentine’s Day and the way the slime ball creates part of the card is genius.
