What’s Next: A Retreat for Burnout Recovery
As mothers we have both experienced a burnout stage. While we have our unique stories, the walls we hit with full force seemed similar in that, we were both searching for the next step in our roles as moms, wives, business owners, and individuals. One of us is a full time work from home mom and the other a stay at home mom for five years because triplets came along. The latter situation was mom burnout at its finest, with a desire to get out into a social setting once the kids became more independent and entered school age. While not seeking a full time job, this mom found some…

The Best Fragrance Diffuser For Busy Moms
Moms, how do you keep your house smelling fresh? Between the constant messy house and the generally smelly kids, I find it difficult to keep the aroma in good status. Or at least I did before I tried the Pura smart diffuser. With four boys in my house, the odors can be overwhelming. They play hard and are just pretty gross in general, as you can imagine. It is difficult to keep things clean and even after cleaning, sweaty little boys that play outside a lot just stink. The smelly socks/shoes, the great outdoors, and the obsession with tooting is quite difficult to mask. Thankfully, Pura came into my life…

10+ Inexpensive Easter Basket Filler Ideas for Little Kids

That way there is less junk, and the basket fills up quicker, leaving the small fillers to a minimum. While we have linked these items on Amazon to make it easier for you, they can be found at many different stores. These are great fillers they will use more than once and probably pretty often. Pregnancy and Infancy Loss: What Not to Say
If only one person in the world could relate to this post, I would still share it. Unfortunately, the number of women that experience a miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, and other types of infancy loss is quite high. If you are part of the ‘1 in 4 women’ statistic, know that we are too. Personally we aren’t sure that the numbers make it any easier. While a lot of women can relate, we all deal with the loss differently and some experiences are more traumatic than others, but this is not a contest for who has the worst case scenario. It is heartbreaking for anyone in any of these situations. If…

Cleaning Tips for Moms
I recently had a fellow mom of four over for a playdate. She remarked that our house was significantly cleaner than her own. Don’t get this confused with my house was super clean or that we don’t have any marks on the walls. Trust me we could use some paint touch ups. However, I do try to keep it somewhat tidy and I do have a few tips for doing so that I thought I would share. As parents, I am sure you can relate to my feelings of irritation on trying to clean around the kids, along with the frustration of them undoing it all in 3 seconds. It’s…
